Last year I planned to do this huge yarnbomb project but never quite finished it. This year I plan to change that. But to do that I realized I probably should start a bit smaller. So I've been trying to think of some little things I could do here and there. I was out on a walk a couple days ago and had a sudden idea for Valentine's Day. I thought it would look cute if I were to plant little "heart flowers" in the ground. A nice splash of color in all that snow. Of course this didn't give me a lot time. My brain has a way of coming up with things last minute. But I've managed to create about ten of these flowers and will be planting them tomorrow. Each one has an encouraging note attached to the stem. I've also cleverly put my website url on the back as well. Hee hee!
Anyways, I hope to be able to put up a video of this yarny escapade tomorrow. Eventually I think I will create a tutorial in case anyone else wants to make a flower for a loved one, or better yet, a bouquet! But that probably won't be for awhile.
