Hello all! Hope you are enjoying the recent crochet tutorial. Second part will be up soon. If crochet isn't your thing the Day Trippin' shenanigans have started. I've visited a few nature preserves and even IKEA! You don't have to go on an expensive trip to have fun. It's the little things really. In fact I've seen so many wild animals this year already. Bunnies, deer, many many birds, muskrats, a turtle, baby skunks and a beautiful blue heron. Sadly I have none of them on film as I've just been enjoying them in the moment. But I encourage you to go outside to see what you can see. You should even go people watching. Our fellow human beings can be interesting to observe as well. Also pick a shop or building you've never been in before and just check it out. I decided to check out this huge laundromat in my neighborhood simply because I was curious and it was like walking into a palace for clothes. It was pretty cool. I might even make a video about it at some point. Haha! Anyhoo, don't forget to checkout these day trips. I hope to inspire you to go exploring!

Hey everyone! Happy 4th of July!!! So I've been working hard and finally got part 1 of my next crochet tutorial out! You can view it here: I had at first considered making it all in one video but that would probably have ended up an hour long. So I decided to break it into parts to you all and myself a break. Haha! To create this pattern I was inspired by two other patterns which you can find here: Other than that I hope you enjoy it! I was inspired to create a character from Final Fantasy XII (12) because I love cacti and thought it would be a funny twist to a crocheted potted plant. If you've never played the game and don't know what a flowering cactoid is don't worry! You can omit the face and just have you own potted cactus. =)
