Hey all! I am slowly chipping away at the crochet tutorials and have finally released part 2 of the Flowering Cactoid tutorial. Yay! I've also been battling a lot of anxiety. This includes rapid weight gain, lots of hair loss and crippling breathing issues. Anxiety is not just all in your head. I often have to remind myself to breathe. I'm doing a lot better though. I've actually taken to bringing a stuffed animal in the car with me when I drive. Haha!
Anyways, I just want to say that if you suffer with anxiety as well don't let others make you feel like it's not a real thing and that all you have to do is think positive and it will magically go away. It won't. Though thinking positive does help it also takes a lot of practice and effort to continue to do so. Sort of like training for a marathon. But if you've been worried that I am not updating this site anymore or blogging, don't! I have not given up. Sometimes we have to slow down and take little breaks. As long as you don't stop you'll always be on the right track! See you soon with more videos! <3 Emi

Hey all! This month has been insane!! Sylvia has been going to special classes once a week to earn her WRAP credentials so I've been taking her once a week to the train station where she goes down to the city. And guess what? She graduated! If you want to know more of what Sylvia has been up to you can follow her here: Anyways, when I went on the train with her on her last day for the graduation I happened to notice some greenhouses out the window. I thought about how nice it would be to have some of my own. But of course living in an apartment you don't get much chance to grow a lot of plants. So instead I decided to build some virtually in Minecraft. I've got potatoes, carrots, pumpkins, melons, beets, sugarcane, and cocoa beans ready for the harvest. I also have wheat too but that's growing in separate field all by itself. Then of course I needed a chicken coop to go with.... You can see the chickens roaming in the outside pen. Here is the inside of the chicken coop. I gave them special beds made of hay and a nice clean water trough. They also have a little door that they can use to come in and out freely. You can actually see them using it. I always enjoy a bit of farming. It's rather relaxing. Now all I have to do is finish my house. Haha! Also, in other news Jackielantern came over this month and we've had a whole buttload of shenanigans! I've also been working on another crochet tutorial! Here is a sneak peak of what you will be crocheting with me: As always stay tuned!
Hey all! So....
Lots of things are happening right now! Some good, some not so good. First thing is that I got a job as a retail merchandiser. I'm actually quite excited about this as I will be doing things that I enjoy and will finally be getting some much needed income! So I've been quite occupied getting situated in that. However, the bad news is that I have been having extreme difficulty getting my videos uploaded to Youtube. It is quite heartbreaking because I am unable to release any of my crochet tutorials and Pinterest experiments for you all to see. I sincerely hope to have this fixed soon. In the meantime, stay positive my friends! I'm taking this time to plan out some fun stuff for winter when we're all stuck inside. xD Hey everyone! So I finally have some crochet-related news. If you have been following my facebook then you already know what it is. Kitty Cat Hats are now up in the store! There was a preview of the orange tabby cat hat in my Whisper Challenge video that I posted in my last blog entry, but in actuality there are FOUR different types to choose from. Clockwise starting in the top left corner you have the black cat, the cheshire, the gray tabby, and the orange tabby. I really love how these turned out! They are wacky good fun and most importantly comfortable and warm. I've already started the planning for a video involving them, now all I need is footage. So that will be one of the things I will be working on the next couple of weeks. I love animals and I will most likely be designing more furry and not so furry friend themed accessories. Owls and definitely raccoons will turn up at some point. =) Until then... Ciao meow!
So I've been feeling a little down lately. It's partly the weather, it's partly a lot of other things. Those of you that have been following me know that I had a lot of health and anxiety issues when I was working at my previous job and was fired for no reason at all because of it. If you don't know my history you can check that out: Anyways, as much as I've found my happiness with my crochet, blogging and videos it is going very slow. So much so that I can't devote my entire time to it anymore. I've got to find another place to work. Which of course makes me very sad and anxious. I'm am trying my best to stay positive. I hope that you all will stick with me in my (hopefully temporary) struggle. This won't mean that I am giving up. It just means that I may or may not be able to update the site and my media as often. I sincerely hope not!! I do have some good news though. The weather is supposed to be warmer this week, so guess what that means? I can take pictures and videos of the cat hats! Look for them on the website soon! In the meantime, I did something with Sylvia to try and cheer myself up and it was quite fun! If you are in need of a severe case of belly stitches, watch this! |
